I am working my way though the online ILM Level 5 Certificate and my feedback is very positive so far. I am really engaging with the videos – taking too many notes I think but really enjoyed it so far! Good job on the online format, I’ve done other online courses and this is by far the best.

– Mat O’Grady, National Technical Support, British Gas

I didn’t find the course particularly easy but with the support of the tutor I gained confidence, got through the work and learnt a lot, I felt stretched and challenged (in a good way!) throughout the course. I found working in pairs and small groups was also really helpful as we were able to support each other and it helped us come together and work well as a group. I would definitely recommend this course as it gives you an array of skills and knowledge that are so beneficial.

If I’m honest, the course was hard work especially for someone who hasn’t written an assignment for some considerable years, however, Marie was extremely supportive along with my classroom comrades both during class and outside with our What’s App group. Receiving the official certificate gave me a tremendous sense of pride and achievement and I would encourage anyone who is thinking about completing this course to ‘go for it’

I have really enjoyed the course, it has formalised differing previous knowledge and allowed me to link them together as well as providing exposure to subjects not previously studied such as project management.

Lynsey is an excellent facilitator creating an informal yet challenging learning environment. The ability to discuss issues, problems and experiences with individuals from similar positions and with Lynsey in this environment has been invaluable.

– Mark Dixon – NHS Royal Bolton Hospital

I really enjoy the classroom and attending the teaching sessions as Lynsey engages the whole classroom. The topics we have covered to date have made a great impact on my work life. The topics covered are so relevant and have been organised to suit the department we all work in. It has taught me how to become, I hope one day, a great leader and that’s thanks to the course.

– Joanne Lockett – NHS Liverpool Women’s Hospital

Lynsey is driven and passionate in what she teaches, her commitment certainly helped to inspire and motivate me to develop my own leadership and management skills. I especially enjoyed the different types of teaching methods that she used to help us all to interact and facilitate our learning.

– Laura Harwin – NHS Liverpool Women’s Hospital

Both courses were enjoyable and informative. Having had no formal training in leadership before this course, I found the content to be very useful. Going forward once I have retired from professional rugby, I believe the knowledge I have gained will be really useful when managing others. Marie’s standard of teaching was exceptional and she was very supportive throughout.

– Chris Hill, Professional Rugby Player with Warrington Wolves
Director of Premier Plumbing Ltd

I enjoy the variety of the lessons – the mix of presentations, group work and discussions works very well. Also, the tips on how the topics link to the course work and hints on how to complete the assignments has been very helpful and the tutor is  always approachable and available for advice.

– Anna Read, On boarding co-ordinator Brookson

The Level 5 course is very enjoyable. It has been good to interact with other people in the profession. There is a high standard of teaching and lessons are easy to follow and engaging.

Lynsey was my Course Tutor for ILM level 4 and 5 at Warrington Business School. She presented the course in a way which was easy to understand and relevant to my everyday role as a Service Manager. The syllabus was sometimes quite ‘dry’ in terms of content but Lynsey’s bubbly personality and presentation skills overcame this. She encouraged participation and working as a team during her tutorials which resulted in total class involvement.

I have always found her to be professional and thorough. She provided the right level of support geared to each individual’s learning style. I have no hesitation in recommending Lynsey or her company’s services.

Lynsey was my trainer when I took my ILM Level 4 Management and Leadership.
Lynsey is an excellent trainer – throughout the course she was enthusiastic, and knowledgeable in her field with an abundance of life/business experience to make the topics and issues come alive.
She got to know each individual learner and was supremely patient with everyone on the course, each of whom came came from different backgrounds and had varying levels of ability and experience. She is a motivator, and pushes you to do well, even when you feel lacking in confidence.
She is approachable, friendly, funny and I would recommend her to anyone as a trainer.

– Fran Miller

I have been attending evening classes on ILM  courses for the last 3 years with Lynsey as the tutor.
Lynsey is punctual and has a good attendance.
She keep lessons interesting and on topic which can be challenging in an evening class after a full day at work.
She gets the information across well and keeps it relevant.
If we had the opportunity we would use Lynsey within our business to deliver training.
